Obituary of Gary Lee Carter

Gary Lee Carter, 64, of 10312 Circle East, Meadville, PA, died Wednesday May 30, 2012, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Bradford, PA, he was born August 26, 1947, the son of the late Jack and Edna Carter. He was a graduate of Bradford High School. A salesman all of his career, he was most recently employed Price Auto Sales, Meadville. Surviving are his wife the former Rebecca Brake, whom he married December 20, 2002; three children Matthew, Todd and Jamie Jo Carter; three step children Michelle Brown and Jeremy and Nathan Haley and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. R.J. Gibbons will officiate. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Club of America.
