Obituary of Robert N. Lundin

Robert N. Lundin, 59, of 510 Weeks Street, died Friday June 15, 2012, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. A Jamestown resident his entire life, he was born June 30, 1952, the son of the late Norman P. and Barbara Coffin Lundin. He attended Jamestown Public Schools and was a 1970 graduate of Jamestown High School. Entering public service as a firefighter for the Jamestown Fire Department in 1979, he achieved the rank of Lieutenant before retiring in 1999. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. He enjoyed playing guitar and banjo. Surviving are his loving companion of 21 years Brenda Kelly, with whom he made his home, four sisters Karen Lundin (Jeff Griffith), Martha Lundin, Debra (Art) Osterdahl and Ann (Cregg) Bernard all of Jamestown; two nieces Vicky Juhl of Federal Way, Washington and Jill Saxton of Panama; five nephews David Saxton of Goldsboro, NC, Andrew Osterdahl, Jon Osterdahl, Ryan Bernard and Dave Griffith all of Jamestown and his special little buddy Devin Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father December 11, 1985 and his mother December 20, 2011. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
