Obituary of Wanda E. Wilcox

Wanda E. Wilcox, 88, of 3 Wildwood Ave. Jamestown, died at 9:56 a.m. Monday (July 16, 2012) in WCA Hospital. She was born January 5, 1924 in Brockway, PA the daughter of the late Walter Owens and Jennie Coder Owens Wingard. Wanda worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at WCA Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1986, and worked occasionally after retirement. She is survived by three sons, Richard C. (DeaAnna) Wilcox of Chautauqua; James E. Wilcox of Grand Junction, CO; Michael B. Wilcox of Jamestown; three daughters, Donna J. (Guil) Mullen of Columbia, MO; Patricia A. (the late Larry) Lindbloom of Grand Junction, CO; Nancy E. (Ron) Crites of Jamestown; ten grandchildren, Kelley Yokom of Jamestown; Jeanette Lyon of Columbia, MO; Sara Wilson of Phoenix, AZ; Guil Mullen of Silver City, NM; Andrew Lindbloom of Durango, CO; Scott Lindbloom, Rachel Campbell, both of Grand Junction; Nathan Crites of Rochester; Ben Crites of Jamestown; James Wilcox of Orlando, FL; and 16 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Wilcox whom she married September 19, 1942 and who died December 15, 2001; two brothers, Walter and Ray Owens; and two sisters, Donna Lucco, and Mary Geist. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
