Obituary of Janet T. Iulg

Janet T. Iulg, 84, formerly of Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility, Gerry, NY and 114 Euclid Ave. Jamestown, NY, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 in the Lodge Care Center, Loveland, OH, under the care of Hospice. She was born July 26, 1928 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Pike Sweeney. Before her retirement she was employed as a high school Secretary for the Akron Central School System for several years. She will be remembered as an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting nature scenes. Surviving are her husband Walter A. Iulg whom she married September 15, 1947, a daughter Dianne M. (Kameron) Brooks of Randolph, NY, a son Warren (Laurie) Iulg of Maineville, OH, three grandchildren Garrett Brooks, Regan Brooks both of Randolph, NY, Ryan Iulg of Cincinnati, OH and one great grandson Preston Brooks of Randolph, NY. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Brown and three brothers David, William and Thomas Sweeney. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Raymond McGinnis, retired chaplain of Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
