Obituary of Mary M. Welch

Mary M. Welch, 91, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, formerly of 8 Crane Street, Jamestown, died Saturday August 18, 2012, in Ohio. A Jamestown, native, she was born August 11, 1921, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Julia Maisto Dicembre. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Jamestown Stamp Company for 30 years and later worked for Foster Grandparents at Bush Elementary School for 10 years. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish, St. John Catholic Church. Surviving are two daughters Cynthia (Albert) Albatrosov of Kilauea, HI and Linda (Keith) Miller of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; six grandchildren Stephen Ferjanec and Matthew Miller, both of Cuyahoga Falls, Michael Albatrosov of Jacksonville, FL, Andrew (Jessie) Albatrosov and Natasha Albatrosov of Port Orange, FL and Julia Albatrosov of Kilauea, HI; four great grandchildren Shawn, Noah and Micha Albatrosov, all of Port Orange, FL, and Marjorie Albatrosov-Fuquay of Kilauea, HI and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Michael J. Welch, whom she married November 24, 1945 and who died December 15, 1970, three brothers Marion, Angelo and Frank Dicembre and three sisters Rose Teresi, Stella Gaeta and Nellie Tumminia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Apostles Parish, St. John Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis W. Mende will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 5:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to Holy Apsotles Parish, St. John Catholic Church, 508 Cherry Street, Jamestown, NY 14701.
