I first met Julie in the late '70's, when she was president of the Albuquerque YWCA, and we kept in touch for a few years after she moved away. She was a strong leader and great friend, a woman to be admired. My husband, Don, and I wish to express sincere condolences to members of her family. We were very fond of both Julie and Shorty.
