Obituary of Muriel Jean Wilson

Muriel Jean Wilson, 85, of Memory Garden, 560 Fairmount Ave. WE, formerly of Garfield Rd. Jamestown passed away at 8:36 a.m. Monday (October 8, 2012) in W.C.A. Hospital. A lifelong area resident she was born January 5, 1927 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Vincent and Della Kofod Loop. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Surviving are a son Jeffrey (Pam) Wilson of Lakewood, NY, three daughters Debra (Larry) Ammons of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Julie (Thomas) Brown of Lakewood, NY, Carrie (Greg) Edwards of Jamestown, NY, 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph A. Wilson whom she married September 19, 1944 and who died January 5, 2011, a son Terry M. Wilson, a sister Gladys Currie and a brother Vincent loop, Jr. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Steven Taylor, pastor of the Panama United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
