It's so hard to think of the words to say goodbye to such a wonderful person who's life was cut short. Jeano was an amazing woman with a great personality. I'll always remember her fun sarcastic attitude towards life. She had this amazing ability to always make me laugh regardless of the conversation. She was a loving and caring mother that left behind a beautiful, strong, and independent daughter that will always keep Jeano's spirit alive. RIP Jeano you will forever be missed! God Bless...

Jeanie, you were a great daughter who always made me laugh. I enjoyed all of the times we went "saling" together finding good deals. You always baked such wonderful black raspberry pies. I am proud of the person you were on earth, now you're with the angels I know. I'll think of you and miss you everyday, until we meet again. Love you Jeanie.

Where do I start? Such a loving and caring person. Aunt Jeannie was a tremendous role model for me throughout my youth. We spent so much time together: sleep overs with Matt at 42 Chapin, playing in the back yard, playing board games, sitting on her wonderfully comfortable couch and talking with her (her guidance in my life meant so much to me), sitting on that same couch as April rocked back and forth (sometimes barely dressed), tucking me in my sleeping bag before bed time in Matt's room, traveling with her and Uncle Lew (and, Aunt Jeannie's sisters) all over - from Conneaut Lake amusement park, to Niagara Falls, Letchworth State Park, baseball games in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Toronto, Welland Canal, etc, etc, etc..... My time with her was very special and she will live on in my HEART and MIND forever! I will truly miss her smile, caring touch, my time spent with her as a youth (what a great role model she was for me!), and her exuberant reaction EVERY TIME she saw me - "you look so much like Lewis," she would always say. Those words meant so much to me because she was comparing me to a man who's been a tremendous role model throughout my life. Putting me on a pedestal with Uncle Lew was an honor!
I could go on and on and on but my tears are getting the best of me. I LOVE YOU AUNT JEANNIE! Rest in peace until we meet again.

Apple Pie... I remember my first trip to visit Chapin street. On my way there, April would periodically call me to make sure I was ok. During our talks, she'd mention the great apple pies her mom made for Christmas dinner. April would say "Jeano made the crust with love." Tasting Jeano's apple pie, I thought to myself "it must have taken alot of love to make crust taste this good." After getting to know Jeano over the past few years I realized the apple pies not only represented a great taste, they represented who she was and how she took pride in her work, the kids she raised, the friends she had, and family she loved. Jeano was a great mother, friend, daughter, and sister. Jeano, Thanks for all the great apple pies.

Jeannie,
There simply are no words to express my feelings. I have many memories, but one that is very special. I do have one regret though: I did not stay in touch with you like I should have in these later years. But because of the person you are I know you will forgive me.
There are many comments on the qualities of your personality and the lasting impression you left on others, and they are all true. Linda only had the opportunity to meet you a couple of times (once when you were in a hospital bed no less), but you left a very positive impression on her. She has expressed that she misses you too and is saddened that you were taken from us way too soon and that she did not have the chance to know you better. That alone is testament to the effect you had on others. I have no doubt that you have already made all of Heaven smile!
Love,
Mark & Linda

I will always remember you as one of my most favorite neighborhood moms. Your door was always open, as long as I took my shoes off.
You weren't only a close friend of the family, you were family. You were kind, generous, funny, and loving. You loved to bake, you loved your country music, you loved to tease me, but most you loved your children. Your hard work is recognized. Kids grow up, but the bond and memories last forever. You were a beautiful woman that will always have a very special place in my heart.

We all miss you already, Jeannie. You were one in a million. Your smile and sense of humor will go on in our hearts. You overcame all of your adversities with your positive attitude.
I remember with such fondness the special memories we shared. I remember our walks in the early morning during our trip to Myrtle Beach many years ago and our special breakfasts we had there; also our trip to Chicago where we had such a nice time, once we got off the Dan Ryan Expwy! I still remember everytime "the boys" came home to visit, you were always at Mom's door with a black raspberry pie. You were the best baker around -- you and my Mom.
I know that your Dad, my Mom, Dad and Beth, Paul and many others who went before you were there on the other side waiting for you when you arrived. God needs more flowers like you in his special garden, sweetie.
Until we see each other again, you know I love you. We were more than sister-in-laws, we were good friends.

The thing i will always remember is her sense of humor. We would always tease and make jokes about one another. Jeano was always quick to smile and enjoyed her kids. Jean's pride in her home and work was pure and taught you to be thankful for what you had. Jeano never seemed to want which was rare in our society. She had a way of making you feel like part of the family and never turned you away. I will miss you, thanks for being you.
