I had the honor of working with Lish as a Volunteer Coordinator at the Great Blue Heron Music Festival. She was a true professional and a great humanitarian. Her kindness towards others and the love for her family and friends inspired me to be a better person. My thoughts and prayers are with Chris, Ben and Elijah. Rest in Peace, Lish, you deserve it.

May you always hold your memories in your hearts. She was an amazing woman and inspiration to all.

In seventh grade (20 years ago) I wrote an essay about why Alicia was my hero... The story on grew along with the depths of her love and heroics. Instead of wanting to listen to others talk about how great she was, I think Lishy would love to see us all paying it forward, doing a good deed, volunteering, lending a hand to someone down and out.

I had the pleasure of meeting "Lish" when I was placed in GA Childrens Home. She always there to listen and give great advise. I remember aggravating her when I would count down to my 16th B-day....but she would always beat me to the punch. She will be now watching over all of us and I am glad she is not suffering anymore with this battle. Alicia was a beautiful woman inside and out. A wonderful, caring woman who was a bright spot in my parents neighborhood. She was kind and loving towards them and they adored her. I will be forever grateful for the way she treated them. she fought her fight with grace and dignity. My dad is waiting with open arms and the two of them are probably cooking up some fun already.
