Obituary of Kenyon C. Butler
Kenyon C. Butler, 52, of 417 Charles St. Jamestown passed away on Friday (November 15, 2012) in Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo, NY, with his wife, sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren by his side.
A Jamestown resident since 1988, he was born February 10, 1960 in Rapid City, South Dakota, a son of Ernest L. and Elnore Hamling Butler.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ken was a very active member of the Patriot Guard and was also a member of the Flying Aces Club in Falconer. Kenyon enjoyed working and building things in his workshop, spending time with his family and friends, and riding around on his motorcycle.
Surviving are his parents of Jerome, ID, his wife, the former Judith Long whom he married December 22, 1984, three sons, Michael (Rachel) Spacht of Culbertson, MT., John (Jennifer) Spacht of Jamestown, Kenyon Butler of Boise, ID, a daughter Mindy Butler of Brooklyn, NY, six grandchildren Samantha Fell, Caleb Fell, Madisyn Spacht and Colton Spacht all of Culbertson, MT, Kaitlyn Spacht and Michael Spacht both of Jamestown, four brothers William (Connie) Butler of Kimberly, ID, Robert Butler of Salt Lake City, UT, Chip (Connie) Butler of Provo, UT, Brent (Amy) Butler of Rexburg, ID and a sister Penny (Toupo) Tuifua of Jerome, ID and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Butler and a sister, Jenny (Brian) Barrett.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 851 Forest Ave., Jamestown. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home.
