My Deepest Sympathy to the family of Bernice, she was my mother's roommate at Heritage. My mother (Genevieve) passed away in September 2010. For awhile they shared a dining table, and I remember seeing Bernice spoon feed my mother, which I thought was very caring of her. The last time I saw her was the morning of my mother's death, I went there at 6:45 AM and there was Bernice sitting in the hall, all dressed for the day and looking very content. Sometimes I would talk to Bernice when she was in bed, she was a very sweet woman and I'm sure she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I can visualize her pretty homemade necklaces hanging on the wall, and I do remember meeting some of her family also. May the love you shared with your mother live forever in your heart & bring you comfort and lasting peace!
