Obituary of Elizabeth Hornberg

Elizabeth S. Hornberg, 91, of 125 Harvard Street, was promoted to Glory to join her husband in heaven, Saturday December 15, 2012, in her home under the care of her daughter Michelle. Coming to the United State in 1957, she was born March 10, 1921, in Bjuv, Sweden, a daughter of the late Karl Oskar and Vomina Johanna Mansson Persson. She was a member of Salvation Army and its Ladies Aide. Surviving is a daughter Michelle (Greg) Hornberg Wilson of Jamestown, a sister Elsa and a nephew Lars, both of Sweden. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gustav Hornberg, whom she married September 2, 1957 and who died October 29, 1999; a brother Ake and a sister Ingeborg. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Salvation Army. Major Douglas Hart will officiate. Friends will be received in Carlson Fellowship Hall of the Salvation Army following the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice Chautauqua County, 20 W.
