Pat was a good friend to my parents, Bette and Bob Garlinger. Our yard now-in Oregon-is full of pachysandra because we thought it so lovely when we saw it at Pat and David's home. Memories of Pat are mixed forever with my memories of my own mother and life in Lakewood.
