Obituary of Victor M. Torres

Victor M. Torres, 63, of 234 Fairmount Ave Jamestown, died unexpectedly Wednesday December 26, 2012 in WCA Hospital. He was born June 10, 1949 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Julian Torres and Isabel Reyes. Victor was a good husband and father who loved his family dearly. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Donna Kinney Torres; three children, Victoria, Julio, and Victor Jr. all of Jamestown; two step children, Eric Tanner of Bradford, PA and Jennifer Tanner of Jamestown; four brothers, Samuel, Julio, David, and Alfredo; and four sisters, Reina, Carmen, Milagro, and Gladys. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Waline. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfonso Pagan will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
