I am so sad to hear of Betty's passing. Betty was a treasured friend of my mom, Joan Gustafson, who passed away this past June. My mom first worked for Betty at Ormond's and then at Brooks in the Chautauqua Mall. They remained very close friends over the years. Betty was always like one of our family. She never forgot to send me a birthday card. I will cherish the memories I have of such a fine wonderful and kind woman. The world was a much nicer place thanks to Betty. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with her family. I know that now she and my mom are probably sharing fun times up in heaven. God bless you Betty, I loved you very much.

I am one of four daughters of June and Jerry McDonnell. Betty was a faithful friend of our family for years. We grew up with her and will miss her spirit.
The pain of losing someone you love is something that we will never get use to because God's Word refers to death as 'the last enemy.' May your family find comfort as I have in knowing that our loving heavenly Father promises us that very soon he will have our enemy 'brought to nothing.' (1Corinthians 15:26) What a wonderful day that will be!
Rest in peace dear Cousin Betty. You were a very thoughtful and loving woman. You have earned your time with God and I hope you enjoy every minute of it.

I am so grateful I got to meet Betty as a neighbor and friend here at 8 crane St.
she was always a joy to talk with, very cheerful and very right up to date with things.
made me feel right at home when I moved into my apartment.
