Obituary of BettyLou M. Hartmann

Betty Lou Hartmann, 86, formerly of 7 Hotchkiss St. Jamestown, NY passed away Wednesday (December 26, 2012) in Kentwood, Mich. She was born August 12, 1926 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Ralph C. Lewis and Viola Larson Lewis Wetzel. Betty was a 1944 graduate of Jamestown High School and before her retirement was the Secretary to the Principal at C.C. Ring Elementary School for 12 years, retiring in 1979. In earlier years she was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was baptized in 1926 and confirmed in 1941. Surviving are a son Timothy R. (Beth) Hartmann of Kentwood, MI, a daughter Cynthia K. (Randy) Hartmann Schlee of Grand Rapids, MI, six grandchildren Timothy Hartmann, Jr., Courtney Venema, Brandon Hartmann, Jason Hartmann, Jordan Hartmann, Taylor Holz and nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her close friend and caregiver Jeannette Eggleston. A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced by the Lind Funeral Home.
