Many great memories of viola. Her oldest daughter Penny was my best friend on 10th street growing up and going to grade school.Remembering going over to her home may times. She was alway kind and thoughtful.I was blessed to have known the family. May she rest in peace, and my God be with the family in their time of sorrow.
Viola was a long time loving friend of our family(The Hunters). Her thoughtfulness and kindness will always be remembered. Thinking of others was a way of life for her. Our parents (Hunters)loved her pecan pies, so she would often surprise them with a pie. She was one of the first members of the North Main Street Church of God when it was started in our home on Cheney Street and remained a faithful, hard-working member until she left Jamestown. She will be deeply missed and always hold a special place in our hearts.
Aunt VI kept us in line at Main st. Church of GOD. She had a tender way about her, Loving and caring all the time. she is Blessing the Angels now and they are rejoicing.Thank you GOD for sending her our way.
Memories go all the way to Cross St for my mother Etta and I can remember anytime I would happen to be on 10th St. I'd make sure that I stopped in to visit her. She was an amzingly friendly and loving woman and she will be deeply missed. God brought home the cream of his crop and I'm honored to have known her. God bless the family, stay strong and thank you for sharing your mother with us.

Aunt Viola was a big part of our family's life, like another parent to my siblings and me. We will miss her laughter and wit at our family gatherings. Rest in peace, Aunt Vi.
I've known Aunt Vi all my life. And I'll always remember her being there growing up in church every Sunday. She was a delight to be around and will be deeply missed.
