Obituary of Alyana E. Gedz

Alyana Elizabeth Gedz, 10 month old daughter of David Miller and Ashley Gedz, of 317 Warren Road, Frewsburg, died Thursday January 31, 2013, in Women and Children's Hospital, Buffalo. She was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lakewood, where she loved attending mass. She loved singing at church, walking outdoors and listening to classical music. Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother Noah Gedz, at home; grandparents Roman and Laurie Gedz of Kiantone, Barbara Miller of Sinclairville and Bill Miller of Fredonia; great grandparents Wayne and Florence Quattrone of Frewsburg, Patricia Klein of Jamestown, Maria Gedz of Jamestown and Joan Miller of Fredonia; aunts and uncles Alexis (Christopher Raffa) Gedz, Nikolaus (Lindsey Buck) Gedz, Gabrielle Gedz, Aleksandr Gedz, Lynn (John) Ciancio, Christina Launier, Daniel Miller and Justin (Ana) Lyon and several great aunts, great uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by great grandfathers Nikolaus Gedz, Daniel Klein and James Miller and great aunt Lisa Ross. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Msgr. Joseph M. Dowdell will be celebrant.
