I really like Paradiso. While it's uaulsly not at the top of our list because my husband isn't a fan of Mexican food, we go there a handful of times per year. I really like their chips salsa (in individual bowls!), as well as their tacos and tamales. As others have mentioned, the service is hit or miss, but it's like that most places in Jamestown. And it's relatively easy to get larger groups in, and have them sit together. Other places have you wait a while, and in the end, have to break up your group.

Although I have only known Randy since returning to this area in 2007, I enjoyed our friendship and have and have always had the warmest feelings about our friendship. I have very much enjoyed the various events that I have worked with in as a member of ARES. He will be missed terribly.

Randy volunteered his time and leadership in many disaster services organizations in the Durham area, including the Duke State Medical Assistance Team, which he talked me into joining when I moved to this area. His contributions benefitted many and will be missed for years to come.
My condolences to his family and his many friends.

I knew Randy through our mutual affiliation with Amateur Radio Emergency Services and the American Red Cross. Randy was always a very thorough and dedicated volunteer - quick with a smile and a joke. He was a very welcoming individual and was a true pleasure to work with. My thoughts and prayers go out to Randy's family and friends.

My heart-felt condolences to Wanda, brother Rex, and other family on Randy's passing. Please accept my apologies for not making the calling hours. I had other family responsibilities. Remember Randy and Rex, of course, from band, and all the fun we had. May Randy rest in peace, and may the memories of all the good he did for so many comfort you all. tf
