Obituary of Stanley V. Strom

Stanley V. Strom, 46, of 78 Stewart Ave Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday February 12, 2013 in WCA Hospital. He was born June 23, 1966 in Buffalo, NY the son of Donald and Carolyn Chapman Strom. Stanley attended Southwestern Schools. He enjoyed writing poetry, and camping, especially at Allegheny State Park. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was the photographer at family functions. Stanley was an animal lover, and will be missed by his cat Spotters. He was a good man, respected by many. Surviving besides his parents of Jamestown are, two daughters, Michelle King of Ashville; Amber Harrington of Jamestown; a son, Raymond Strom of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Breanna and Zachariah King, both of Ashville; two brothers, Steven (wife Marty) Strom, and Jeremy Strom, both of Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alyssa Nicole King; and his mother in law, Louise Skiver. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday February 16, in the Lind Funeral Home. Immediately following, there will be a reception at 155 Barrett Ave. Please bring a dish to pass. Memorials may be made to the family.
