Obituary of Vivian M. Wiley

Vivian M. Wiley, 92, of 12708 Brown Run Rd., Frewsburg, NY passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, in the Warren General Hospital, Warren, PA. An area resident for most of her life she was born September 17, 1920 in Grove City, PA a daughter of the late Ransom and Esther Ransom Whittenhall. In previous years Vivian was a waitress for the Jamestown Moose Lodge and had also worked for the Clark Box Factory in earlier years. She had also been an active member of the Jamestown Moose Lodge Auxiliary. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved to spend time knitting, crocheting and sewing. She made several special items such as tablecloths, napkins and afghans for many of her family members. Surviving is a daughter Sandra L. (John) Fellows with whom she made her home in Frewsburg, a grandson, Craig (Bea Sauciuc) Fellows of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren H. Wiley whom she married February 5, 1943 and died July 27, 1980, a sister Virginia Janet and a brother Walker Whittenhall. A private family service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701.
