Obituary of Edith M. Eimers

Edith May Woodard Eimers, 71, of 20 Pearl Ave Jamestown, died Thursday February 28, 2013 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 14, 1941 in Corry, PA the daughter of the late Martha Woodard Dorman. In recent years, Edith worked at the Goodell Home. Earlier, she worked as a waitress, cook, and bartender at various area establishments, including Mileys Old Inn for many years. Surviving are two sons, William Charles Hester Jr. and Jonathan Patrick Hester; nine brothers and sisters, Eugene, Rosa, Barbara, Shirley, Diane, Pat, Martha, Margo, and Joe; and several nieces and nephews. Edith will be missed by her family, her many friends, and her dog, Coco. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her step father, Marion E. Dorman Sr.; her husband, James "Jim" Eimers; a sister, Ruth Porter; and two brothers, William E. Dorman and Marion E. Dorman Jr. At Edith's request, there will be no funeral service or visitation observed.
