Dear Sharon,,,I'm so sorry to see that Norm has passed away.
I'll always remember how sweet he was to my mother at Heritage, when she would be upset, he would try to calm her with his soft whistles and gentle touches on her arm. I told you about it one time and you said, "that sounded just like something he would do"!! I know he was a very caring person, and I was the lucky one to have known him, if only for a few months. I'm happy our paths crossed!
I always enjoyed talking with you at Heritage, and our little doggies did too!
My Deepest Sympathy to you and your family! Rest in Peace my friend!

Norm. I'm really sorry to hear about your passing. I'll never forget our times when we were kids and how we enjoyed ourselves on the farm in Akeley and the playing in the haymows in Youngsville and Akeley. I remember going up in the pastures and working in the hay fields in the summer and picking strawberries next door in Akeley. I remember our family coming from Arnold for thanksgiving and us running around the house so that we could eat more. You were a great person and from what I understand a great father who was loved. May you rest in peace.

It is sad to say goodbye, Norman (Jake) as you were well known to me. We had some great times over the years ...you were so funny ...could make me laugh whether I felt like it or not. I know you are at rest now, no more pain or sorrow. It is sorrow for us to let you go. As you know, I've known Sharon for a lot of years ...that entire family that you married into was like family to me. I know you can't hear me or read this but may you rest in peace until we join you ..then all sorrow...gone forever. Sharon. My love and heart feelings go out to you. Life wasn't always pleasant was it ...but we made it work. Our Lord made it work.
May you feel His peace and presence as only He can give. Blessings and Love, Kathy

You were The Greatest Father that anyone could ever want. You were tough as steel at the hand when We did wrong, although you had the softest of hearts and cared deeply of others. I Remember when I was very young, how you always would say hello to a passing stranger, and I would ask you "who is that Dad" you pulled me aside and explained to me that you were just a nice guy. I will never forget what I call your catch phrase and that is when you always said "i'm a nice guy, just ask me"... Another one is when you would respond to someone asking how you were by saying "mean, onrey , and ugly." I knew that to never be true. Take care of the Grand Children I placed in Heaven before you. You are Loved and Missed by many... Save a Place in Heaven for us Papa...

Thank you for the times that we shared together. Those memories will last a lifetime. I am very proud that you are my father. Although God called you home you will always live in my heart. I looked up to you more than you might have known. You always provided everything we needed. You never wanted us to go without. Your love toward me was sacrificial as it also was toward your family. You always lent a hand helping others. There can never be anyone to replace you in my heart. Dad you have been sealed in my heart for all eternity. I Love You very much. God has called you home and i know that if God would allow you to you would be working for him up there. But God said it is time for you to enter into his rest. I will miss you greatly. You always had a positive outlook even in the toughest of times.
I Love You & I Miss You. Your Son Randall Ryan Arthur.
