Obituary of Robert V. Barlow

Robert V. "Bullet" Barlow, 62, of 152 Buffalo Street, died Monday March 4, 2013, in WCA Hospital. A Jamestown native, he was born December 22, 1950, a son of the late Anthony and Rose Dina Barlow. He was a 1970 graduate of Jamestown High School and worked as a factory worker for Titan X. He was a avid fan of the New York Yankees and Cleveland Browns. Surviving are his wife the former Jean Devereaux, whom he married June 9, 1980; 5 children Heidi Barlow of Jamestown, Tammy (Matt) Johnson of Randolph, Josh Barlow of Kannapolis, NC, Lacey Barlow and Katie Barlow, both of Jamestown; four grandchildren Anthony and Aiden Nichols, both of Jamestown, Marley Johnson of Randolph and Braden Moore of Jamestown and a brother Isadore Barlow of Falconer. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Barlow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. James Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph Gullo will be celebrant. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
