Obituary of Robert E. Nordine

Robert E. Nordine, 88, formerly of 27A Shirley Lane, died Tuesday March 5, 2013, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. He was born December 12, 1924, the son of the late Elmer and Gladys Hutley Nordine. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Dahlstrom Manufacturing for over 30 years as a factory worker. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Surviving are his wife the former Mary Coons; a son Jeffrey A. Nordine of Jamestown and a grandson Ryan Nordine of Missouri. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Kay Nordine in 1953; a son Steven Nordine in 1969 and two sisters Betty Hill and Carol Schwob. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald A. Haglund will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
