Obituary of Helenrae L. Galbraith

Helenrae L. Galbraith, 72, of Tanglewood Manor,560 Fairmount Ave. W.E. passed away at 5:45 a.m. Thursday (March 14, 2013) in the Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. An area resident for most of her life she was born August 10, 1940 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Burton E. and Charlotte E. Tranmer Williams. She was a graduate of Mayville Central School and was a waitress for Davidson's Family Restaurant for 15 years. She will be remembered as one who loved animals and one who loved to spend time doing ceramics. Surviving are three daughters Rene (Dennis) Lilly of Bemus Point, NY, Kelly (Robert) Patterson of Jamestown, Stacey (Steven) Grundstrom of Celoron, NY, 10 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Galbraith and her loving sister Sandra (Clyde) James. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Warren VanDewark of the Watts Flats United Methodist Church will officiate. Inurnment will be with her sister in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Ashville, NY. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Watts Flats United Methodist Church, Blockville-Watts Flats Rd.
