Obituary of Robert A. Lundsten
Robert A. Lundsten, 85, of 320 Delaware Ave., died Sunday March 17, 2013, in WCA Hospital.
A Jamestown native, he was born September 25, 1927, a son of the late Lars and Emma Hagstrom Lundsten.
He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1945 and served in the US Army from 1945-47.
He was employed as a tool and die maker for his entire career having worked for Cummins, Ring Punch and Die and Marlin Rockwell Corporation.
He was a member of Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and Herman Kent Post #777 American Legion.
Surviving are his wife Cora Eisentrout Lundsten; 5 children Diana (Robert) Gutknecht of Jamestown, Debra (Anthony) Pacitti of Jamestown, Daniel (Carla) Lundsten of Ellington, Denice (Ray) Johnson of Lakewood and Darry Lundsten-Leonard of Duvall, WA; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a great great grandson and 3 brothers Jerry Lundsten and Roger Lundsten, both of Lakewood and Darwin Lundsten of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Joyce A. Prosser Lundsten, who died October 18, 1986; a grandson Thomas Lundsten; a great grandson Alexander Pacitti; 2 brothers Carl and James Lundsten and an infant sister.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will not be observed.
