My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Dean as I knew him. I learned of his passing at the Jamestown Koinonia Women's weekend tonight.
He holds a special place in my heart as he counseled my husband and myself to help save our marriage. Altho years later my husband decided to leave the marriage, I can tell you that the encouragement and counseling give me helped me to be a better Mom to my three boys - one of which met with him because of my broken marriage. When I heard his name tonight I had no idea of his dedication to Koinonia, altho not surprised. When I heard his name I felt comfort - he did that for me - gave me a safe place to be and comfort to know I was going to be ok. Thank you to Dean's family for sharing him so graciously. You are all in my prayers.

I first met Dr Patton at Cummins back in the late 70's or early 80's. What a remarkable man. We also were fortunate to use his services and were well pleased. A man with a great heart and very caring to those in need. Rest in peace Dr. Patton. Your memory lives on.
