Obituary of Mary Alice Carlos

Mary Alice Carlos, 80, of 54 Matteson Ave. Fredonia, NY, formerly of Jamestown passed away at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday (March 26, 2013) in the Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, NY. She was born July 6, 1932 in Binghamton, NY a daughter of the late Thaddeus William and Margaret M. Scallon Carlos. Surviving are a brother William J. (Diane) Carlos of Greenhurst, NY, a nephew David (Elizabeth) DuBois of Bemus Point, NY, several cousins Barbara S. Parlato, Margaret Corkery Erickson, Thomas Scallon, Kenneth Scallon and Sally Corkery who was very supportive over the years with her many acts of kindness. She was preceded in death by her sister Maureen M. Carlos who died May 12, 2012 The family would also like to give thanks and gratitude to the staff of the Matteson Ave home for their many years of caring and concern for Mary Alice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Holy Apostles Parish at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the Holy Apostles Parish, 508 Cherry St. Jamestown, NY 14701 or to a charity of one's choice.
