Obituary of Karen K. Lindstrom Scott

Karen K. Lindstrom Scott, 54, of 419 Newland Ave., died at 9:25 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 in her home following a recent battle with cancer. She was born in Ashville, NY on May 26, 1958, a daughter of Joyce Matthews Lindstrom and the late Robert Lindstrom, and graduated from Panama Central School. Karen's joy was caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her sons. In addition to her mother of Jamestown, Karen is survived by her fiancé, Ricky Hamilton; two sons, Brian (Erica) Scott of Rochester and Jason Scott of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Dylan, Chelsy, Maddison, Zachary and Kadyn Scott; and a sister, Susan (Lee) Fuller of Jamestown. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received for two hours prior to the service, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
