Obituary of Lena E. Ferrari

Lena E. Ferrari, 92, formerly of 215 Hunt Road, died Wednesday April 10, 2013, in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Karlsruhe, Durlach, Germany, she was born December 15, 1920, a daughter of the late Johann and Mary Frueh Kuppinger. She was educated in Germany and came to the United States in 1952. She had been employed by Chautauqua Opportunities as a personal care aide. She earlier had worked for Johnny's Lunch, Monarch Fuse and Jamestown General Hospital. Surviving are 2 children George (Annette) Sielski of West Ellicott and Yvonne (Lauren) Swanson of Syracse, NY; three grandchildren Renae (Mark) DeAngelo of Sciota, NY, Dana (Jamie) Saporito of Piney Orchard, NY and Christine Swanson and 2 great grandchildren Olivia and Luke DeAngelo. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband George H. Sielski in 1971 and her second husband Anthony Ferrari in 2005. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. James Read will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
