Obituary of Leonora M. Feltner

Leonora M. Feltner, 86, formerly of Jamestown, California and Ohio, died Tuesday April 9, 2013, in Golden Living-Kinzua. She was born October 24, 1926, in Farmersville, NY, a daughter of the late Leo and Katherine Ackerman Ellis. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Esquire Cleaners as a presser and seamstress. For several years she enjoyed bowling in various leagues. Surviving is a daughter and 4 grandchildren in California and three sisters Naomi Pangborn and Wilhelmina "Toots" (Jack) Bargar, both of Jamestown and Carol Holechek of Elmira. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Feltner and 2 brothers Leo Ellis, Jr., and Carlton Ellis. The funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Christ Chapel of the Lutheran Home. Rev. Violet Davidson will officiate. Burial will be Busti Cemetery. Friends will be received prior from noon to 12:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel prior to the service. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
