Mr. Peterson was the consummate gentleman with such a kind nature. I always enjoyed doing business with him and my father sincerely appreciated having him as a model tenant in the 4th and Pine Building. Sincere sympathies to Ray's family.

I have fond memories of Ray, especially from our family reunions. I remember best his fine sense of humor--he always had funny stories to tell and was skillful at bringing out the laughter.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. It's been a long time but I remember well our days in confirmation, choir and high school. Also, I bought my wife's engagment ring from Ray and Dorothy is still wearing it after 67 years. God Bless!

I am very sorry to learn of Ray's passing.I enjoyed my acquaintance with him, and often talked about city affairs while visiting at the store. I especially enjoyed dropping in if I saw my good friend and high school classmate, Gunnard "Kinky" Kindberg in there visiting.

My father (Milton) and Ray were childhood friends and remained so for their entire lives. I remember many 4th of July barbecues with their entire high school gang. Ray and my dad started kindergarten together. If I recall correctly they spoke only Swedish and had to pick up English in a hurry!

I didn't know Ray very well, but I did know he was a great husband, father and grandfather. Also he was the only real jeweler in town.
Deepest sympathies to Gale and all of the family.

I always enjoyed Ray and looked forward to visiting with him whether it was in the Jewelry Store or at the Family Reunions.
He was always a great conversationalist and fun to visit with.
As he aged, he did so gracefully.
I have many fond memories of him.

Ray and Gale have been a part of our lives for many years.
I remember the fun picnics we had and even went horseback riding together.
He had a beautiful singing voice and I remember the Living Christmas Tree very well.
He was a wonderful person who was always joking and was a lively conversationalist.
He maintained my watches when asked.
I am left with many fond memories.
