Obituary of Robert R. Wilson

Robert R. "Bobby" Wilson, 34, of 248 Broadhead Ave. passed away at 1:30 a.m. Thursday (April 25, 2013) in his home. An area resident since 2005, he was born January 26, 1979 in Corry PA a son of Leigh Chamberlein Cantafio and the late Craig F. Wilson who died in 1997. A former resident of Arkansas, he excelled in high school athletics where he was a pitcher on the softball team and played three positions on the football team. He will be remembered as one who loved spending time with his family. Surviving are his mother Leigh Cantafio, his step-father Samuel Cantafio of Jamestown, "Grandma Kate", a sister Jeri Leigh Nash of AK., a brother Craig Wilson of Jamestown, two step-sisters Tammy Mani and Tonie Wirsen both of Jamestown and also surviving are Aunt Dottie, Aunt Debbie, Uncle John and Uncle Bobby. He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandparents Robert Wilson and Rose Kellogg and his maternal grandparents Herbert Chamberlein and Joan Kuleman. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Mandala will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
