Obituary of Donna Jean Andrews

Donna Jean Andrews, 82, of 96 Nottingham Circle WE, died Thursday May 9, 2013 in her home. She was born August 5, 1930 in Bradford, PA the daughter of Norman H. and Leila M. Abbey Schroth. Donna was a 1949 graduate of Bradford High School. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jamestown where she was treasurer of St. Luke's Women's for many years. Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown are, her husband of 63 years, John C. Andrews whom she married June 23, 1949 in Bradford; a daughter, Linda (Tim) Sagurney of Jamestown; two sons, John C. (Roxanne) Andrews of Saratoga; James B. (Amy) Andrews of Lakewood; six grandchildren, Shelly Kirby of Edinboro, PA; Bryan Sagurney of North East, PA; Benjamin Andrews of Texas; Jonathan Andrews, of Pittsburgh, PA; Abbey Andrews and Kylee Andrews, both of Lakewood; and three great grandchildren, Kate, Matt, and Alexa. She was preceded in death by her father on July 27, 1945. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Liz Simmons, interim Rector will officiate. Entombment will be in St. Luke's Columbarium. The family will receive friends following the service in the Undercroft of the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 410 North Main St. Jamestown, NY 14701; or to a charity of choice.
