Obituary of Joan A. Carosa

Joan A. Carosa, 72, of 35 Hallock Street, died Tuesday May 14, 2013, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. She was born January 7, 1941, in Manhattan, NY, a daughter of the late Stephen and Julia Kazar Wolenuk. While living in Erie County, she was a communicant of Annunciation Catholic Church, Elma, NY. Surviving are three children Dawn (Carl) Lisciandro of West Ellicott, John Carosa of East Aurora, NY and Christopher (Mary Beth) Carosa of Lancaster, NY; 2 grandchildren Andrew and Nicholas Lisciandro of West Ellicott; a brother Stephen Wolenuk of New Jersey and a sister Doreen Giordani of Sunbury, PA. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Joey Lisciandro. No funeral service will be observed. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home.
