Obituary of Brad L. Clarkson

Brad L. Clarkson, 56, of 428 Winsor St., died Monday, May 13, 2013 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center - Hamot in Erie. He was born April 17, 1957 in Jamestown, a son of the late John A. "Jack" and Gwendolyn Brown Clarkson. Brad graduated from Jamestown High School in 1975 and attended SUNY Fredonia. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1977 to 1981 where he played trombone in the Marine Corps Band. Brad had been employed by MATCO Tools in Lakewood. He is survived by a step-daughter, Elizabeth McKotch of Jamestown. In addition to his mother in 1979 and father in 1998, he was preceded in death by his companion, Rachelle "Shelly" Gustafson who died April 5, 2012. A private family graveside service will be held in Sunset Hill Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the WCA Foundation Inc., P.O.
