Obituary of Karen L. Burt

Karen L. Burt, 42, of 205 Barrett Ave., Jamestown, died unexpectedly Sunday (May 26, 2013) in the Emergency Room at Olean General Hospital. She was born July 2, 1970 in Jamestown the daughter of Milton Raner and Linda McKiernan Raner. Karen enjoyed crafts and was a big Eeyore fan. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her love of animals. Of course, her greatest love was for her two boys. Surviving are her two sons, Christopher and Justin Burt both of Jamestown; her mother Linda Raner of Jamestown; her father and step mother, Milton and Sarah Raner of Randolph; a brother Ken Raner, a half brother Pat Harvey, both of Jamestown; two uncles, Henry Diers of Jamestown, Raymond Diers of Florida; five step siblings; many cousins; and her ex-husband Randy Burt of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Irene and Ernest Diers; and an uncle, Paul Diers. No funeral service or visitation will be observed.
