Obituary of Jack E. Lindquist

Jack E. Lindquist, 83, of 2546 Carlson Road passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing. He was born in Jamestown on August 5, 1929, a son of the late Gunnard and Ruth Anderson Lindquist. A 1947 graduate of Jamestown High School, he then served for three years in the U.S. Army, Coastal Defense Division Jack was employed for 28 years by Adanlock as a draftsman, retiring in 1987. He was also a member of First Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Marylee Bloom Lindquist, whom he married August 7, 1965; a daughter, Cynthia Lindquist and a son, Mark Lindquist; two brothers, Merrill Lindquist and Paul Lindquist; and a sister, Marilyn Ross. A private family service will be held. The Rev. Daniel K. Nagle will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
