Been doing an ancestry.com family tree. Recently added Mrs. Lahti to my tree & discovered that she recently passed away. Just wanted to "light a candle" in remembrance of my great aunt. My condolences to her immediate family & friends.

I love you so much Gran Gran!
I Felt Honored to carry you yesterday. I knew it was the right thing to do, Grandpa told me, "Go get her Marty".
I'll never forget doing things around the house for you, and always going over to your house after the first days of school and telling you how fun it was!
The fun trips to savannah were always fun, especially Walking on river street and going in to candy and toy shops.
Well your with grandpa now.
I'm Glad yall are back together again.
LOVE YOU gran gran...SIT!
:) May you rest in peace
your grandson,
Martin-

I had a great childhood thanks to Mum and Dad. We went to visit relatives often and took a vacation once a year whether they could afford it or not. The camping at Alleghany State Park and the Sunset Bay trips to the beach. Oh, the fun we had. Mum was also a wonderful grandmother to our two boys. After Dad passed, she said their hugs were medicine. She enjoyed several years close to them. For that I am greatful. Mum...your love, style, sense of humor, generousity and dedication to your family will never be forgotten. I love you.

I met Lucille in the early 50's. Celebrated many parties togather along with Winne and Dorette. She loved to sing and dance, was the life of the party. We had daughters and a son close in age while living in Buffalo. Finally she and John are joined together. Glad I was able to see her before she passed. Will always remember the precious years we had. Be at peace Lucille Love you Rose.

My favorite memory of the past few years is you opening your eyes and smiling at me after I kissed your cheek while you slept. I love you.

I believe that Lucille was the undiscovered Judy Garland of our time. She had a fashion sense that lives on in her 2 daughters. I chose to think that Lucille and John are sitting at the eternal bar in the sky and do they ever have a lot of catching up to do. Have one for me...I will miss you both until I join you at the bar. I will always keep Lucille in my heart for her kindness and generosity. I'm glad to know Lucille and John are together again and imagine that Lucille is already working in her garden.

We are so blessed to have had that time together! May you find the peace now for your hearts to heal. Love, Carole, Debbie, and Jeff.

You were truly blessed having a Mom for a very long time. Once you told me that your Mom, didn't care for the sound of a Harp. I think she will get used to it.
With sympathy,
Karen and Joe
