Obituary of Audrey Ann Card

Audrey Ann Mitchell Card also known as "Awesome Audrey", 52, died Monday June 3, 2013, in her home. She was born November 15, 1960, in South Bend, IN, a daughter of Sondra Ewing Mitchell Dansby and the late John Mitchell. For the last 3 years she worked for the Boomerang Restaurant in Busti and earlier many other restaurants. She lived a very simple kind of life. She loved reading, cooking and her farm animals including all the chickens, rabbits, ducks and horses, but especially her dog "Lady" and goat "DeeDee". Audrey will be missed by many including her friends Becky, Azareeyah and co-workers from the Boomerang. Her friend Jill helped her a lot with her Roswell visits and Michelle and Melissa were special caregivers. Her companion Mike was by her side until the very end. Surviving besides her mother Sondra Dansby of Fort Myers, FL is a sister Angela (Huel) Pruitt of Estero, FL, 2 nephews Mitchell and Wesley Pruitt of Estero, FL and her companion Mike Wheeler with whom she made her home. She was preceded in death by her father John Mitchell. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday July 6, 2013 in Busti Federated Church. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
