Obituary of Ryne R. Johnson

Ryne R. Johnson, 52, of Ashville, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, Saturday June 8, 2013 in the Emergency Room at WCA Hospital. He was born August 4, 1960 in Jamestown the son of Barbara Soudan Johnson and the late Charles Johnson. Ryne was a graduate of Jamestown Community College and was employed as Sales Manager at Hope's Windows. He was a member of Zion Covenant Church, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, the YMCA, and he enjoyed playing hockey. He had compassion for and loved everyone; his family was most important. Ryne was a deep thinker and always gave 100 % to everything he did. Surviving besides his mother of Lakewood, are his wife, Brenda Chall Johnson; three sons, Zachary, Brent, Gregory Johnson all of Ashville; a sister, Mary Jane Bowman of Hemlock, NY; two brothers, Barry Johnson of Busti; Christian Johnson of Ashville; his in laws, Barbara and David Chall of Bemus Point; and an aunt, Carol Rawlings of Frankfort, KY. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday June 12, 2013 in Zion Covenant Church. The Rev. Rick Miller, pastor, will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday (two hours prior to the service) in the church.
