Fran was an amazing, kind and generous woman. I will always remember times spent at her store as a child. I was friends with her grandson. She and her husband always treated me like family. And there will never be anyone who can make a better sub than she did. The "Joey" was my favorite, along with her chocolate covered bananas. May you rest in peace Fran! Kathy,Bob,Jon and Bobby, I am so sorry for your loss!

I will always remember meeting Fran at the 2010 book signing at the Prendergast Library when I released my first book, THE LOST NEIGHBORHOOD COLLECTION. After Fran read it, she sent me a wonderful note expressing her congratulations and telling me how much she enjoyed it. I still have that note. I'm sorry that she will not be here to read the second Lost Neighborhood book that I will publish soon, but I'm glad that she had a chance to read the first one. I remember her as a very gracious and kind, sweet person. She will make heaven a little brighter. Joan Lindquist

I have so many wonderful memories of you and Rigoli's Grocery store. You were always so kind and patient with me and my siblings. We visited you regularly for your penny candy! We also ordered your Mother's Day coconut cakes every year and you would allow us to pay a little something every week towards the cake. You will be a permanent part of my childhood memories--thank you for being you--the best of the best and truly one of a kind. I hope you know the difference you made in so many lives.

I am saddened to hear of Frannie's passing.
I had moved to Florida and when my parents were going to come for a visit they would go and get my husband and I subs to bring down to us. Frannie would package everything separately for us so they wouldn't get soggy!!!
She was an amazingly caring lady!!!
My prayers for The Lord to bring His comfort and peace to the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all family and friends in this time of sorrow. I knew Fran growing up on King St. and walking down to Rigoli's Grocery daily
for items, as well as, the best pizza and subs. Fran was a very sweet, kind-hearted person. My sister also worked for Fran and I know she enjoyed working at Rigoli's Grocery very much. When I moved away to Texas and now California, I always made it a point to stop at Rigoli's Grocery to see Fran, Frank and Kathy when visiting Jamestown, NY. Of course, I would either have to get Pizza or one of the best subs in town. I was sad to learn that the store would not reopen in later years. Fran will be sadly missed, always remembered and never forgotten. May you rest in peace, Fran.

Sorry for your loss of Frannie. She had a heart of gold! If I was having a bad day, I would order a 'Joey' and she knew just what I wanted on it just by saying it was Connie. She then would perk me up turning her face to speak small talk all the while not missing a beat on the 100's of subs she was making that day. Frannie? Have fun feeding the angels. But do take time for yourself to enjoy Jesus, our holy father in Heaven.
