Obituary of Halsey V. Willover

Halsey V. Willover, 74, of 615 E. 6th St. died Thursday, June 27, 2013 in WCA Hospital. He was born November 30, 1938 in Corry, Pa., a son of the late Alvey and Gertrude Erskin Willover. Halsey was formerly employed as a security guard by Fitzpatrick & Weller in Ellicottville. He had attended First Baptist Church. Surviving are four children: Barbara Tidd and David Baker, both of Jamestown, and Alvey Victor Baker, Jr. and Tammy Baker, both of Hinsdale, NY; four stepchildren, 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucy Coon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Sunday. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
