Obituary of Rudy L. McWhorter

Rudy L. McWhorter, 82, of Lakewood, died Thursday July 4, 2013 in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born November 20, 1930 in Harrison County, West Virginia the son of the late Donald M. and Grace Rector McWhorter. Rudy was a graduate of Mercersburg Academy in York, PA; attended Ohio Wesleyan University; and graduated from West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. He was a retired Pharmacist and a US Navy Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Knight McWhorter whom he married January 20, 1955; a son, Gregory Scott McWhorter of Omaha, NE; and a daughter, Daphne Lynn McWhorter of Lakewood. No funeral service or visitation will be observed.
