Obituary of Lola J. Haggmark

Lola J. Haggmark, 80, formerly of Lakecrest Ave. Lakewood, and Trask Road Jamestown, died Tuesday July 9, 2013 at the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born August 26, 1932 in Kennedy, NY the daughter of the late Axel and Bertha Marsh Strom. Lola was a 1951 graduate of Celoron High School. She was a talented artist who enjoyed Tole painting and oil painting. She also enjoyed gardening and caring for her animals. She especially loved taking care of her grandchildren. Lola was a kind and gentle person who saw the good in everyone. Surviving are her daughter, Susan (Brian) O'Connor of Lakewood; her son, Richard (Kelly) Haggmark Jr. of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Megan O'Connor (Jeffrey Gross) of Memphis, TN; Ryan O'Connor (fianc Danielle Laska) of Lakewood; Lindsey (Christopher) Hall of Penfield, NY; Jake Haggmark of St. Louis, MO; two great grandchildren, Kyle and Ellice; and a sister in law Judy (David) Ball of Brockport, NY. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Haggmark Sr. whom she married November 24, 1951 and who died February 14, 1978; two infant daughters; a brother Leonard Strom; and a sister Doris Martin. No funeral service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
