Obituary of Eric C. Young

Eric C. Young, 50, of 203 Niagara Ave., Jamestown, died unexpectedly Friday, July 26, 2013 in WCA Hospital. He was born June 1, 1963 in Salamanca, NY and was a graduate of Randolph High School. An avid reader, Eric also enjoyed playing scratch-off tickets. He is survived by his mother, Julia Hartman Young Barton of Seattle, WA; a son, Bryan Johnston of Frewsburg; a sister, Connie Young of Jamestown; three brothers: Fred (Sharon) Young of Frewsburg, James (Tino) Young of Seattle and Todd Young of Georgia; and his best friend and extended family of 30 years, Gary, Jody and Rayshell Gauggel of Jamestown. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Everett Young. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. Visitation will not be observed.
