Obituary of Carlos Manuel Echevarria Burgos

Carlos "Chupy" Manuel Burgos-Echevarria, 18, of Prospect Street, died Friday August 9, 2013, in his home. He was born December 4, 1994, in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico a son of Carmen Jantin-Burgos and Carlos Echevarria. "Chupy" as everyone knew him, came to Jamestown 2 years ago. Always full of life, he loved to joke and play, and always could make you laugh and put a smile on your face. He will be truly missed by all who came to know him for his lively personality. Surviving are two children Natalie Echevarria-Burgos and Carylis Echevarria both of Jamestown; his parents Carmen Jantin-Burgos and Carlos Echevarria; four sisters Melissa Echevarria-Ruiz, Carmen Marques-Burgos, Carla Echevarria-Burgos, Luciana Marquez-Burgos; one brother Luis Antonio Marquez-Burgos all of Puerto Rico; his Jamestown family cousins Jose Echevarria, Carlos Echevarria, Jessica Echevarria, Jaysean Paige; aunts Vivian Millan and Eloise Millan and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins in Puerto Rico, Philadelphia and New York City. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service Burial will be in Puerto Rico.
