Obituary of Ross E. Rickerson

Ross E. Rickerson, 50, of 45 Broadhead Ave. passed away at 10:23 a.m. Friday (August 16, 2013) in W.C.A. Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong area resident he was born October 6, 1962 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Neil S. Rickerson and the late Katherine Hornberg Rickerson. In previous years he had worked as a die caster for the Premium Tool and Die Company for several years. He will be remembered as one who loved being a father and would do anything for his children. Surviving are his children; Cassandra Rickerson, Nicholas Rickerson, a brother Neil Rickerson, his step-mother Beverly Rickerson and his care giver Lori Rickerson all of Jamestown. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Timothy Phelps, chaplain of Hospice Chautauqua County will officiate. Friends will be received from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
