Obituary of Beverly J. James

Beverly J. James, 69, of 309 Forest Ave., died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in WCA Hospital. She was born December 26, 1943 in Titusville, Pa., a daughter of the late Earl and Ida Hunt Johnson, and was a graduate of Jamestown High School. Beverly loved Bingo and was a great fan of Elvis Presley. She is survived by three sons: Theodore K. Lord, Jr. (Melissa) of Chambersburg, Pa., David W. Lord of Erie, Pa. and Scott A. James (Cam) of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Joshua and Tessa Lord; a great-grandson, Austen Wolfgang; a brother, Raymond Johnson of Jamestown; her good friend and companion, Sammy Macaluso; and her ex-daughter-in-law, Juanita Lord with whom she enjoyed a continuing friendship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodore K. Lord, Sr.; second husband, Roger B. James; and two brothers, Russell and Wayne and three sisters, Hazel, Violet and June. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Landin will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
